Conference Description
The 10th Australasian Symposium on Parallel and Distributed (AusPDC 2012) will be held in January, in Perth, Australia in conjunction with Australasian Computer Science Week, 30 January – 3 February 2012. The Australasian Computer Science Week is the annual meeting for computer science researchers and educators held in the Australasian region. It includes the Australasian Computer Science Conference (ACSC), the premiere generalist forum for Australasian computer science academics, as well as several specialist conferences and workshops. The goal is to provide an interactive and friendly yet professional forum for original research contributions describing novel ideas, groundbreaking results and/or quantified system experiences. It will provide an overview of current challenges in Advanced Computing, in particular those which are not yet at a prominent place on the agenda.
