The 2012 BELMAS Conference is starting from 20th July, 2012 and will end on 22nd of the same month, and it will be held at The Midland Hotel, Manchester, United Kingdom. The presenters will deliver their speeches on the theme- 'Shaping Educational Reform: Learning from research and Practice. The theme will also encompass both the intended and unintended consequences of reform and will also contain a mixture of discretion, constraint, opportunity and control. BELMAS is celebrating its 40th anniversary year and the conference will have programs like- presentations, social events and networking opportunities in a relaxed and friendly environment. The council consists of 9 elected members, 4 officers and 6 co-opted members. It offers grants like- Research Bursaries, development Grants and International Partnership Grants; and it also offers awards like- DA Award, EMAL best paper award and Thesis Award.
