The Agency Conference 2012 will be held on 11th and 12th June, 2012 at the Faculty of Education of University of Cambridge in collaboration with Dr. John Potter. Participants of the conference will present papers on the theme- Researching Agency in Educational Contexts: Theories and Methods. The purpose of organizing this conference is to discuss and analyze how research has a positive effect on our educational settings and how it can advance our understanding of the human agency and how it can affect someone's choice of methods and practices within the educational settings. The topics to be discussed in the conference are- Digital video production by young learners, Cultural practices and new literacies: memory, self-representation and curatorship, The use of social software and online networks for publication and learning.
