London Map Fair has a very good historical record, which has been taking place from past thirty years. It is one of the established events of its kinds. The various products for the exhibition will include Atlases, Travel Books, Globes, Sea Charts, Town Plans, Topographical Prints, Reference Books and related ephemera. London Map Fair will also involve famous cartographers and publishers such as Ptolemy, Mercator, Ortelius, John Speed, Christopher Saxton, Blaeu, Jansson and many other important figures in the history of map-making. The previously held event in 2010 invited Nicholas Crane FRGS, explorer, writer and broadcaster, presenter of Map Man, Coast and Great British Journeys, who spoke about the great Flemish cartographer Gerard Mercators life, his map production and his legacy to modern mapping.
