The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is emerged out as the Thailand's first multi functional exhibition centre in the year 1997. Since then BITEC has hosted several big events in the industry. The centre has been a host to several international exhibitions and congresses. The BITEC is one of the finest venues in Thailand for exhibitions and conventions. The centre has also won the Global UFI Operations award in the year 2007. Some of the major events hosted at the venue include-The Bangkok International Motor Show, Intermach, Metalex, Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair.

Location: The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) enjoys a central location in the city. It can be easily accessed from any part of Thailand. It will take less than 15 minutes to reach the centre if you take a car from the Suvarnabhumi International airport. The nearest Skytrain station is at an approximate distance of 4 Km.

For the last decade, the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) has been successfully hosting some of the biggest events in the world. Equipped with state of art facilities, the BITEC has won several awards and appreciations for being one of the top exhibition and convention venues in Asia-Pacific. The venue has six spacious event halls, numerous meeting rooms and three other grand halls. The Bank of Ayudhya is located at the ground level. The venue also has several Internet Kiosks located at different parts of the venue. The business centre is also situated on the ground floor for assistance of visitors. The exhibition centre has a large parking space which can accommodate upto 4700 cars. The venue provides all the amenities that are required to organize a world class event, under one roof.

The Royal Grand Palace is the most famous attraction. This large complex houses several ancient temples and palaces that are worth to watch. The most popular Thai temple Wat Phra Keow is also located inside the complex. The Temple of Dawn, also known as the Wat Arun, is another popular temple in the city. The Chinatown is known for its markets. The place has several gold shops and antique shops. The Chinatown is also home to Wat Traimit (Temple of golden Buddha). The temple houses the world's biggest statue of Lord Buddha. The Baiyoke Sky Tower, Democracy Monument, Dusit Zoo and Nana Plaza are some other attractions of this beautiful city.
