About Venue
The Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre is known as one of the biggest and highly modernized convention centres in around the globe. Located at Sher-e-Banglanagar, Dhaka, it was mainly constructed for China's technical and financial co-operative and it was mainly intended to host 13th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). Spanning on more than 50,000 square metres of beautiful landscape, the centre has a main hall which can accommodate around 1700 persons, 700 delegates on the floor. The centre has 2 seating rooms for 200 people, 4 negotiation rooms and has a banquet hall for 700 persons. It is beautifully designed by the Beijing Institute of Architectural Designs and Research.

Facilities
The Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre offers fully air-conditioned main hall with seating capacity for 1700 people, 2 seat rooms for committee meetings with 200 seating capacity. There are 4 negotiation rooms, banquet hall with 700 people accommodation and a media briefing room for 300 people. Sprawling on more than 20,000 square metres of land, the centre is surrounded with 30,000 square metres of space having fountains. There is a parking space for 700 vehicles and has 128 flag poles. It is well constructed with the use of latest technology as the top of main hall is 48 metre spherical shell structure and is very well supported through the 24 concrete columns.
