With the opening of The International Congress Centre Berlin on 2nd April 1979, Berlin became the Mecca of global congress destination. Since then ICC Berlin has been a story about success and has become one of the worlds most sought after business centres borne out by the fact that it is completely booked to the year 2019. Out of the 6.4 million participants from around the world, more than 2.9 were foreigners who travelled to Berlin to attend conferences in ICC Berlin. Not only that approximately 1,700 show events such as concerts, musicals, operas and ballets were also hosted at the ICC Berlin. Despite its 30 year history, ICC is still setting standards for the MICE industry.

Spacious lobbies (5,500 m2) and the ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) communications system, and a three-storey walkway provide a direct link between ICC Berlin and the Berlin Exhibition Grounds (160,000 m2) are some of the other facilities available at the ICC Berlin. To serve the huge number of visitors, ICC Berlin has 12,000 parking spaces available on and around the grounds.
Nearby Tourist Attraction
Potsdam with the Holländisches Viertel (Dutch quarter) and the Russian colony Alexandrowa is a throwback to the times of Prussian Kings. The palaces and the parks of the summer residence of the Prussian kings, lies southwest of Berlin and still retains its ancient charm. The Spreewald forest is actually a water landscape in Brandenburg. A labyrinth of rivers spread over a vast area, the Spreewald forest offers an unforgettable boating experience. The woods and the lakes of the Dahme-Seengebiet are a popular tourist attraction. Leisure travellers flock to the spa Bad Saarow to bath in the thermal waters and relax. The exotic bathing worlds of Tropical Island in Krausnick, give a similar experience. Havelland is a heaven for water sports and the lake landscape is an irresistible attraction for water sportsmen. You can also enjoy open air concerts in Lehnin, one of the oldest convents in Bradenburg.
