About Venue
Owned by the Cape Town International Convention Centre Company (Convenco), the Cape Town International Convention Centre(CTICC) is a world class event venue in South Africa. Located on the northern foreshore, CTICC has a huge impact on the western cape economy. The venue was officially opened on 28 June, 2003. Two Auditoriums, a large trade show and exhibition space, a grand ballroom, Meeting rooms, foyers or catering, the centre has it all. CTICC is considered as a backbone of business tourism in western cape. The venue is operated and manged by Amsterdam RAI, a leading operator of some world class conventions centres across the world.

Facilities
The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) offers around 11,200 square meters of space that is meant for trade shows and exhibitions. The space can be used to design 5 separate halls for a range of events. Electricity, water and internet connections are available inside the halls. The venue also has a grand ball room offering around 2000 square meters of space. One can witness spectacular views of the Tale mountain, the Cape Town harbor, the Roggebaai Canal and other attractions of the city, through the glass facade at the ballroom. CTICC also has around four spacious meeting rooms, 13 meeting suites and numerous satellite kitchens. All the areas are linked by a gallery. The two auditoriums at the venue are technically advanced and can accommodate over 2100 guests or delegates. The two foyers at the venue can be used as registration areas.

Nearby Tourist Attraction
All the major attractions of the city are located very near the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The V&A Waterfront, table mountain, Robben Island and the Cape Point, all are within reach of this majestic venue. Located at he Cape Town harbor, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a major tourist and entertainment destination in the city. The Robben Island is another popular excursion from the city of Cape Town. This prison Island is very famous because the great South African personality, Nelson Mandela was imprisoned at the Islands. The Table mountain is undoubtedly the iconic site of Cape Town. This 1086 meter high mountain is a world heritage site and is visible from all parts of Cape Town.
