About Venue
Cricket Club of India (CCI) was built on a piece of land reclaimed from the sea which Lord Brabourne, Governor of Bombay. The Cricket Club of India was founded in 1933, and since then has been a host to many big events. It is one of the largest space providers in Mumbai. It also comprises the headquarters of the BCCI, which is the governing body of Indian cricket. Not only cricket the CCI played host to the fifth edition of the USV all-India major ranking badminton tournament in December 2006.The stadium is counted amongst the four grounds, which made the venue for 2006 ICC Champions Trophy. Almost after 11 years, the sports arena felt proud when the International Cricket revisited its ground in the sixth match of the qualifying round. Intrinsic with world class facilities the CCI is among the most demanded venues for hosting big events comprising large gatherings.

Facilities
The CCI is an affiliated member of the BCCI like any other state association, but unlike any one of them, does not conduct cricket in the state. The stadium has one of the best cricket pitches and grounds in the region. It also has tennis courts, a swimming pool, fitness centers, a billiards room, squash courts, badminton courts, table tennis tables, cafes, bars, a library and a reading room. It is very difficult to get membership into this exclusive club. The participants will get some of the renowned hotels in the vicinity of the ground.
