About Venue
The Dortmunder Westfalenhallen is nestled within Germany, and is an idyllic place for any sort of events and trade shows. It is a versatile venue which came into being in 1925 and offers a capacity of the 16,500 square meter. There are numerous events, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, meetings, industrial fairs, dances, and festivals that happen here round the year. Big names too have featured here with live performances during the Rock Pop festival in 1983, like: Judas Priest, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Krokus & and The Michael Schenker Group. The venue also played host to the 1964, 1980 and 2004 World Figure Skating Championships, along with the 1955, 1983 and 1993 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships tournaments. The venue offers a vast space to the visitor’s and exhibitors, along with a restaurant and a bar.
