DWTC (Dubai world trade centre) is the parent company that owns the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). The first event that took place in the DICEC was the 2003 IMF Annual General Meeting. The venue offers world class exhibition and convention facilities. The two halls, Sheikh Maktoum Hall and the Sheikh Rashid Hall offer a combined meeting space of around 10000 sqm. There are also nine other interconnected halls offering a total column free space of around 60000 sqm. The venue hosts several national and international events round the year and has become one of the premier event facility in Emirates.

How to reach
Exhibition Centre Information
Location: Getting to the Dubai international convention and exhibition center is very easy. The Dubai international airport is just a 15 minute drive from the center. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the Jebel Ali International Airport from the center. Metered taxis are the other best way to reach the DICEC from airport.

The DICEC offers nine air conditioned interconnected halls that provide total of 60000 square meters of exhibition space. Apart from this there are two separate halls that can be used for meetings as well as exhibitions. Apart from this there is an elegant Al Multaqua Ballroom in the centre which offers ample space for banquets, weddings, private parties, cocktail receptions and art exhibitions. The venue also has separate meeting and breakout rooms. The venue is equipped with facilities like high-speed Internet connection, telephone and facsimile. The halls are interconnected through an air conditioned concourse.
