About Venue
Constructed on 1 September, 1985, the Friendship Cultural Palace covers is recognized as one of the biggest cultural center of Hanoi. It consists of 3 major buildings- a performance house, a study house, and a science and technology house. Its front building is the performance house which has rotary stage and 2 halls with seating capacity for 1256 and 375 respectively. Its study house have library, conference hall and observatory for facilitating clubs to organize conferences and workshops. The science and technology house work as a linking chain between these 2 buildings. Here various art performances, fashion shows, beauty contests, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, sports events etc. are organized. It is also known as Huu Nghi Cultural Palace.

There are 120 rooms in its science and technology house. The center offers various business services like photocopy, fax, internet, telephone etc. which in turns help in successfully organizing of various events.

Nearby Tourist Attraction
The Municipal Water Puppet Theater is more than 1000 years old. In this theater puppets are specifically designed to give them a look like in Vietnamese fable. You can cherish beautiful moments at Ho Tay Lake Water Park. It encompasses of 12 large & small slides and proves to be one of the favorite tourist spot for visitors. If you want to get a view of bygone era then St. Joseph's Cathedral is a perfect place to visit. In 1070, King Ly Thanh Tong paid its tribute to education with the foundation of Temple of Literature. After 6 years, it became Hanoi's first university.
