About Venue
The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is United States first major convention center and also the first state owned. Established since 1976, the GWCC is one of the world's most famous and finest convention, sports and entertainment venues. Hosting a wide variety of prestigious events, exhibitions, trade fairs, concerts, conferences and meetings , the center generates an impressive amount of revenue for the State Government. Visited each year by more than 2 million people, the forum ranks among the top five largest convention venues in the country and in the world. The convenient location of the exhibition center in downtown Atlanta, is easily reachable by the many restaurants, hotels and other tourist attractions. Other buildings that form part of the complex are The Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.
Exhibition Centre Information Location: As the Georgia World Congress Center is centrally located , one can reach the exhibition center within 15 minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Taxi and shuttle services are also available from the airport to reach the GWCC. Direct access from the baggage claim counter at the airport to the center is also provided by the MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transportation Authority) .

Facilities
Ranked as a world class event venue, the exhibition center provides a staggering exhibit space of around 1.4 million square feet. The Georgia World Congress Center has 106 meeting rooms , 12 spacious exhibit halls with air-conditioning , 2 grand ballrooms and three huge auditoriums. One can also have access to the food and catering services, that are provided by Levy Restaurants. Other facilities arranged by the complex are internet and telephone services provided by Convention Center Long Distance(CCLD). The CCLD can also arrange modem lines, phone lines, high-speed Internet lines, and other communication services. The other two buildings , Georgia Dome and the Centennial Olympic Park can also be used for exhibitions and conferences.
