Leipzig Exhibition Centre is a premier event venue in Germany. The exhibition centre has five spacious halls, each hall covering an area of around 20,500 sq m. The main hall, also known as the Glass hall, is a dome shaped structure made of steel and glass. The glass hall also serves as the central entrance for the exhibition centre. The glass hall is connected to other exhibition halls and the congress centre. It can also be used as a space for hosting exhibitions and other events. The exhibition centre also has numerous VIP and business lounges in its premises. Each hall is equipped with world class facilities. Each hall has a seperate Cloakrooms and cash desks. Thus the centre can host more than one exhibition at a single time. If required, the halls can also be partitioned using movable walls. The Leipzig exhibition centre is a flexible venue that is capable of hosting event of any type or size.
How to reach
Exhibition Centre Information
Location: Leipzig-Halle Airport is located near the exhibition centre. One can opt for the airport express operated by Deutsche Bahn AG. The train stops at the Leipzig Neue Messe station which is at walking distance from the exhibition centre. However it takes around 15 minutes to reach the centre, if you take a taxi from the airport. One can also take Tram number 16 from the Leipzig Central station to reach the airport. This journey usually takes 19 minutes.

Leipzig Exhibition Centre has set very high standards in the event management business. The venue has two admission sale points - one located at the west entrance and the other at east entrance. Apart from the five spacious exhibition halls which offer a total exhibition area of around 102,500 sq m, there is a large open exhibition area which can be used for outdoor events. Other facilities like Child creches, first aid points and dining facilities, make the Leipzig exhibition centre a unique exhibition facility in Europe. Photocopying and fax services are also available within the centre. A taxi rank is located near the west entrance of the centre.
Leipzig is blessed with some of the word's most beautiful museums, palaces and art galleries. The popular attraction in the city is the Zoologischer Garten(Leipzig zoo). The place is visited by tourists from every corner of Germany. The zoo is home to thousands of endangered and rare species of animals. The mountain gorillas, Orangutans and African Savannah are some of the popular attractions at the zoo. The Safari train at the zoo is very popular among children. The Market square or simply the Markt is a popular tourist attraction of the city. The Markt also houses the Old town hall. There are innumerable shopping and eating options available at the market square. The Leipzig Zentralstadion, one of the largest football satdiums in Germany, is also located in Leipzig.
