The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is one of the prestigious centre located on the banks of the Yarra River. They work in association with the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau, Tourism Victoria and the Department of Business and Innovation to continue to attract important business events to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre that will enhance the growth and prosperity of Victoria. The centre is very near to central business district of Melbourne and only 20-minute drive to Melbourne Airport connects MCEC to the rest of Australia and the world. The Victorian State Government owns the centre and is managed by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust (MCET). Three car parks are available for visitors to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It takes around 20 minutes to reach the centre by car from the Melbourne international airport. The major sites of attractions, hotels and restaurants are within the proximity of the centre. The MCEC is well connected through trams, trains, buses and taxis.

The MCEC provides world class facilities which makes it a premier event venue in Australia. The meeting rooms, theaters and exhibition space are equipped with complete internet connectivity. The convention centre offers banquet services for around 2000 delegates. The centre also houses two theaters and an auditorium.
