About Venue
The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is one of the oldest and largest event facility in United Kingdom. NEC became functional in the year 1976 and since then it has become one of the busiest venues in Europe. The venue hosts more than 150 events each year. The other popular shows hosted by the centre include - Crufts and Clothes Show Live,IPEX and Spring Fair Birmingham. The centre is also the largest event venue in United Kingdom in terms of total area it covers. NEC is a multipurpose venue that is capable of hosting events like conferences, conventions and exhibitions. NEC is visited by millions of people in a calender year and it is a major player in Birmingham's economy.

Exhibition Centre Information

Location: National Exhibition Centre is just a few minutes walk from the Birmingham International Airport (BHX). The Coventry Airport (COV)is at an approximate distance of around 15 miles from the centre. The Birmingham International Rail Station is just adjacent to the NEC.

NEC is a multipurpose venue that can host event of any size, scale and nature. The venue offers more space than any other venue in United Kingdom. The NEC has 21 interconnected halls that are fully air conditioned. NEC also offers other services like operational show management, catering, Event IT, event promotion, audio visual, advertising, technical services, utility services, security and cleaning. The catering facilities offered by the centre include - On stand catering, in hall catering and catering for banquettes and conferences.
