Northlands Park is a volunteer-driven, not for profit, community service organization dedicated in making Edmonton and North Central Alberta an even greater place to live and visit. It utilizes its revenues in further organization of events. Northlands Park is Edmonton's second-largest tourist attraction and host of more than 3.5 million guests every year. Northlands Park produces three of Edmonton's largest annual events Edmonton's Klondike Days Exposition, Farmfair International, and Canadian Finals Rodeo. Some of the major exhibitions being held in Northlands park are:Alberta Gift Show, Alberta Farm and Ranch Show, Edmonton Home And Garden Show, Western manufacturing Technology Show are the major exhibitions being held in Northlands Park.

Northlands Park provides suitable facilities, a grandstand and a circular race track being popular components existing in the various incarnations of the organization. With continued attendance, and marvelous structures, racing and gaming have provided leadership in the horse racing industry and side by side contributing to the region's economy. Indoor facilities are vital to Northlands Park events, as some of them are held exclusively indoors. Within Rexall Place and Sportex, indoor soccer games, basketball tournaments, hockey games, skateboarding demos, and Ice Capades engage the community in athletic pursuits.
