Established in the year 1920, the Norway Trade Fairs convention center is the largest exhibition and convention center in Lillestr?m outside Oslo. A self owned organization, the Norway Trade Fairs is the primary force in Norway for evolving exhibitions as a cost-effective tool for marketing for the visitors, exhibitors and organizers and is custom made for the market. It is the only venue in Norway having the capacity to organize conferences and congresses for up to 10 000 participants. The venue offers state of the art facilities and infrastructure, thereby being the only center that meets international standards and has 39 000 sq m of convention and exhibition space on one level and 30 000 sq m of outdoor exhibition space. It organizes every type of meetings, seminars, kick-off, conferences. The Convention Center is known for its excellent facilities and the quality service that it offers to the exhibitors and visitors.

The Norway Trade Fairs convention center besides being a top class venue for events, trade fairs and exhibitions also organizes private meetings and conferences. The center has the facility of holding exhibitions for more than 70,000 visitors and their halls can be divided into many segments as required. Other services include accommodating layout solutions and unique logistics management, hotel is linked directly to the center and offers 350 four-star rooms, catering facilities, 50 meeting and conference rooms of all sizes, restaurant facilities, parking facilities, spa, fitness center and swimming pool and also a nightclub/bar.
Lillestr?m means ?the little part of Strom? where ?Strom? is the name of an old and large farm. In the year 1997, Lillestr?m was named a city in its own right and holds an annual 4 day city fair, which is entirely free of charge. This includes music by high profile Norwegian artists on several outdoor stages, food, retail business exhibitions and thrill rides. It is all held in Lillestr?m's main street and the connecting streets, that has been reserved for pedestrians for the occasion.
