About Venue
Originally opened in the year 1974, the Sacramento Convention Center is a multi purpose facility center and the meeting venue for many exhibitors for hosting eminent trade fairs, conferences, international exhibitions, concerts, meetings and various prioritized events. It serves as the main constituent of the City of Sacramento Convention, Culture and Leisure Department. The Center has flexible exhibit space of 134,000 sq ft, 31 meeting rooms, a 24,000 sq ft ballroom, a 3,867 seat Memorial Auditorium, a 2,452 seat Community Center Theater and a 272 seat Jean Runyon Little Theater. Sacramento Convention Center strives to provide an excellent, miscellaneous and service oriented facility that will improve the economic and cultural status of the Sacramento community. Equipped with modern and latest amenities and facilities, the Convention Center is a primary exhibition venue in the city.
