About Venue
The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a leading expo centre located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. The centre is easily accesible from all parts of the city. The SNIEC offers a single level pillar-free space.The venue offers around 126500 square meters of indoor exhibition space. The remaining 100000 square meters of space can be used for outdoor events. The venue has several expansion plans for the future. SNIEC is a flexible venue which hosts a variety of events. The center is owned by Shanghai Lujiazui Development (Group) Co.,Ltd, Deutsche Messe AG, Messe Duesseldorf GmbH and Messe Muenchen GmbH. SNIEC is functional since 2001.

Exhibition Centre Information

Location: SNIEC is situated right behind the inner ring in the city of Shanghai.The centre is located at an approximate distance of 600 meters from the Longyang Rd subway station. A train ride from Shanghai Pudong International airport to the centre takes around 7 minutes. However, it will take 20 minutes if you take a car from the airport to reach the centre.

Facilities
The Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) offers state of art facilities and is ranked among top event venues in China. SNIEC offers 11 fully air conditioned halls. The halls are equipped with all modern facilities. The power supply and lighting facilities are available within each halls. Each hall has a water supply and drainage system. Other support facilities like - Telephone lines, wireless internet access and broadcasting system are also available at the centre. Aprt from this there are also arrangements for fire protections within the centre.

Nearby Tourist Attraction
There are numerous sites of attraction located near to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre(SNIEC). Apart from some mesmerizing structures, the area around the centre also has several shopping streets and markets.Oriental Pearl TV tower is an important landmark of the city of Shanghai. The tower is the highest in Asia with an approximate height of 468 meters.The tower looks very beautiful at night when it is illuminated with colored lights. There are observation decks on the tower that offer panaromic view of the city. The Yuyuan Gardens are also one of the most visited places in Sanghai.
