Formed in 1986, the Taipei World Trade Center(TWTC) was originally initiated by Taiwan's leading trade promotion association, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). With the main objective of providing a single, state-of-the-art venue that would encompass everything from providing prime exhibition space, offices, conference facilities to providing accommodation and hotel facilities for its exhibitors. The TWTC is a modern venue comprising of four structures namely International Trade Building, Grand Hyatt, Exhibition Hall and International Convention Center. The center has proved to be an enviable forum for bringing together every kind of client-oriented service related to all trade activities. Standing out as a prime center of international trade, the TWTC also stands as an exemplar for world trade centers.

Location: Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) is located at an approximate distance of 30 Km from the Taipei Taoyuan internaional airport. The airport buses usually take an hour to reach the TWTC from airport.

Facilities:

The Taipei world trade center(TWTC) has every facility that is required to organize an event of very high standards. The exhibition hall has seven floors, offering a total space of around 159,329 sq m. The floors can be reached by an elevator. Each floor has several exhibition areas that can be separated or merged as per the requirements. The other exhibition hall (hall 3) offers a total space of around 6748 sq m. This hall can have upto 365 booths. The Grand Hyatt hotel is also located near the hall. Each hall scores good as far as the power supply and lighting is concerned.

The most identifiable attraction of the city of Taipei is the Taipei 101, which is the tallest skyscraper ever constructed on earth. It is undoubtedly the most technically advanced building. There are a total of 101 floors in the building. The skyscraper lies next to world trade centre in Taipei. The Dragon temple or the Lungshan Temple, is also a popular site of attraction. The temple is dedicated to Guanyin, the goddess of mercy. The other popular attractions include the Shilin Night Market whic is the largest and the most popular market of Taipei and the national palace museum which is one of the most loved museums of the world.
