Popularly known as Tokyo Big Sight, the Tokyo International Exhibition Center is one of the most prominent and biggest convention venue in Tokyo city. Established in the year 1996, the exhibition centre is a multi-functional venue with distinct architecture and design. It offers around 230,873.07m2 of total floor area and a total exhibition area of 80,660m2. The center has been divided into three major areas namely the East Exhibition Hall, the Conference Tower and the West Exhibition Hall. Well furnished with high-tech features and amenities, this ultra-modern convention and exhibition center's symbolic image is Conference Tower that is highly visible. With 10 major halls, conference rooms, excellent value-added service and outstanding facilities, Tokyo Big Sight is Tokyo city's primary platform for both trade and consumer activities.

Exhibition Center Information:

Location: The Tokyo International exhibition center is easily accesible from all parts of the city. The Kokusai-Tenjijo Station is just a 7 minute walk from the center. The airport bus takes less than 25 minutes from the Haneda airport to reach Tokyo big Sight while from Narida airport it takes around one hour to reach the center.

Facilities:

The Tokyo International Exhibition center offers facilities that make it a world class event venue in the world. Besides offering a total of ten exhibition areas in two exhibition halls, the venue also comprises of a rooftop exhibition space, an outdoor exhibition area and a conference tower. The conference tower can accommodate around 1000 delegates. The Tokyo big sight also houses several restaurants, coffee shops, and snack corners. Numerous ATMs and convenience stores are also located in the premises of the Tokyo Big Sight.

Nearby Tourist Attraction:

Tokyo's most famous tourist attraction is the Imperial Palace, which is home to the emperor of Japan. The palace was completed in the year 1888. The palace interiors are only open to public on few special days. however the surrounding gardens of the palace can be visited anytime. The other major attraction of the city is the Edo Tokyo Museum which preserves the history, art, culture and architecture of the city of Tokyo. The other major attractions of the city include - Temples of Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, Joypolis Sega, Kiyomizu-do Kannon Temple, National Children's Castle, Sensoji Temple and the popular Sunshine International Aquarium.
